Neonatal transport fellowship

We frequently have opportunities for a neonatal transport fellow. This post would be suitable for:

  • Individuals not currently in a training post wishing to develop their neonatal transport experience
  • Core trainees already in training posts wanting additional neonatal transport experience as out of programme experience
  • Neonatal grid trainees already in training posts who would like additional neonatal transport experience as out of programme experience
  • Trainees not in neonatal grid training posts, but wishing to broaden their neonatal and neonatal transport experience

Past posts within the CenTre Neonatal Transport Service have proven highly successful and flexible in supporting trainees in many ways to achieve their ambitions, whether it be to obtain their MRCPCH, provide additional experience in successfully applying to a training programme, attain additional specialist skills and help successfully apply for Consultant posts.  There is a regular training programme within the service, including simulation training.

These posts do not attract a National Training Number (NTN) Existing NTN holders will be expected to apply for Out of Programme Experience (OOPE) or Out of Programme Training (OOPT) from their Training Programme by liaising with the local deanery. These posts have been recognised for training by the RCPCH and Neonatal CSAC (as part of the third year of grid).
